Greetings from St. Paul, MN, home of the largest car show of it's kind in the world. Wow, last weekend was great, but I still recall our first 5-10 years of back to the 50's when we knew almost everyone at the meet. With 11,500+ registered, I consider myself fortunate to know about 200 of the guys. Some are gone or moved far away, but most of the original gang still parks at "Forties and Friends Forever" area located at the WCCO building. The 34 ran flawlessly, but the 40 flathead barely made it in and the fuel pump finked out outside the gates leaving. Luckily a cargo trailer sat at home. All is well and yet another experience to remeber. Never forget, old cars ARE fun and flatheads have personalities of their own!
