Ive been lurking for a while and thought that I would join the fray. I am a 30 year old guy who has always been around rods. I am a full time builder and partner in a shop here in Abbeville SC. I have been doing this full time for about eight years, and piddlin most of my life. I am currently building a 48 GMC p/u with a 57 302 six Its got a howard 290 cam ,fentons and I am building my own intake to use three 97s. Im gonna run the straight axle in front and a 12 bolt truck rear. I hope to have It on the road by late spring. I also have a 48 suburban to build, and my daily ride is a 72 suburban. I have recently become more interested in traditional cars and hope to learn from the crew here JAY

I lived in Rock Hill for a long time, sometimes I wish I was there, gnawing on a Bojangles biscuit and a tea ('course sweet!).

Jimmy 6, Welcome to the HAMB! There's not too many GMC 6's on here, they kinda rare. I've got a '53 302 big port in a '39 Chevy 2 door. If you do a "search" for Alfster, you'll get a kick outta his modified; GMC, five carbs, open lakes pipes. Too cool!
