Hi all, been a member on TGJ for a little while, and I have been lurking around on here for a long time, mainly for the art and tech. Always amazing, always informative. Got a few toys, not brand, era, or style orientated. I like a lot of stuff from different areas. I think the two cars that would interest the H.A.M.B. community are my '29 roadster and my '39 pick-up.

Heyycharger, yep a little LJ with a mechanically injected 308. Was my brothers, sold a couple of years ago, now painted yellow and I think it lives in Sydney. Was a lot of fun, built at home under the house.

You are right ,that cool little roadster interests me, and probably others at the "Social Group, Termites and Bowties'. Welcome to the HAMB, and feel free to join us at the social group as well. Any more pics of that Chevy would be great too.:D

I don't have many digital photos of the roadster, I have a few printed ones that I can scan and post. It has been stored at my brothers place for about five years and that's seven hours away. He takes it out occasionally just to keep it running. It was originally built in the late sixties and we bought it in the mid nineties. A motor rebuild and a repaint in original colour and it was back on the road. We drove it to lots of runs and modified things as we went.

The problem we face now is that we would like to rebuild it, and although it is far from a famous car, being built when and where it was, means it does have history. I think it's actually a bit ugly in places, but if i change it too much, I'm worried I'll be losing that history.

Thanks for the interest, I will dig up the photos and post them soon.
