Gday guys,been along time since been online,used to be on the old RRT,at that time had an aussie dodge phoenix converted into a ute,had a few more dodges since....currently have a ratty old 68 big block hardtop.
anyway glad ive found this site.lots of info,cool site.cheers.

thanks guys....yeah it gets some unwanted attention from the cops,but its now regoed on vintage club rego as it still retains its original engine and wheels,so they now leave me alone for the most part...haha...
Im in wollongong nsw,just south of sydney....

Was the converted ute blue? I remember seeing a blue one around a few years back.

yeah that was me,.blue with white stripe up the side...sold that a few years ago,now with great regret,havent seen or heard from it since..

So whats the deal with vintage rego?Im born & bred in nsw (sydney) & been over here for 15 years now & didnt know about this rego.Was thinking about shipping my hot rod over & use it when we come over. How hard is the nsw rego system now for hot rods etc or are they still nazis

It's not hard. You can have full/normal rego or club/limited rego. The limited rego is obviously a lot cheaper
