Nice ta meet you guys! Been gathering parts for a couple of years for a mid-life crisis kind of project. 46 Ford pick up (gonna turn it into a truckster). Bit of a different powerplant - a Chrysler slant six. I have been poking about for a few weeks and love the site! I know I can learn a bunch and will likely need plenty of advice since this is my first real build. Thanks in advance!

Welcome, I have a soft spot for the slanties, but toomany projects to pursue another one. When I was a kid I had a 110 inch front engine dragster with a 340 and a 727. I've always wanted to build that same car with a /6 in it. Maybe 2 or 3 projects into my retirement. good luck on the pick up, Joe.

Lindross, you should sit in my seat :p I have screen names, work emails, personal emails, and real names all for one person ....:eek: I'm lucky the dad's out there in the SRM tribute didn't have 4 sons instead of just one ... lol

Now back to the post, I have only been around these guys for a short time,
an invite to Bubba's shop on Wednesday nights .... mmm .. mmm ... I am so
jealous I don't live near by! These guys are too much fun, oh yeah and Kool Hot Rods too !!! Welcome to the HAMB, it is a great place to be!

I am overwhelmed by the welcome! Thanks again guys! Lindross it's Wayne. You know the guy who made it to the Good Guys party last year but couldn't make it this year even though the rest of the slant guys could. Maybe I will PM ya soon as I figure out how this nes site works!
