56 Ford Customline Help..

I have a 56 Ford Customline (project) that, I am putting a 289 and a C4 automatic tran out of 67 fairlane in this week. It was an original standard on the column, but previous owner had it auto on column. I would like to have this automatic on the floor. Can someone tell me what it may take to do this? (Yes, I am new to this and getting help.)

Just need to buy a shifter somewhere for a c4 (summit,jegs,or check out the alliance dealers)
