hello, i have been an offroader for the past 10 years, now i am starting a family and dont have time or money that is helpful when wheelin and i want something i can drive on the road to local car shows.

I sold my off road buggy and other project jeeps but,

I am still a jeep guy and have a few. Daily Driver 2005 Unlimited Rubicon with mods, 1954 Willys PU with SD33 IH Scout engine (resto project), and a 1960 Willys PU that i am wanting to build a "rod" out of.

Here are a few pics.

Welcome.
I've got a '61 nearly on the road myself. I probably wouldn't count mine as a rod but it will be/is one helluva go and bring 'em home truck and daily transportation.

Enjoy
Benno

Here is a link to mine not posted out on the main board but in the odd rod club. Not to say that you can't post out on the main board but I might lurk for awhile if it were me.

I've never seen a Jeep PU with a "crew-cut". What are your plans with the top? I had a 1946 CJ back in 1970, my brother-in-law still has a 1942 "Ford" military jeep, it was just like the Willys with no tailgate and Ford script on the body.

The grey truck had a "crew cut" when i bought it. my plans were to use that truck as a parts truck for the other one because it has great body panels. I want to switch over the fenders on my other truck and other various parts. Then i would have leftover a great running engine, good cab, sandblasted and painted frame. I didnt want to sell it in case i needed more parts off of it. So i decided with what i had left, i could make into a willys truck rod. I am currently moving the axle forward and going to see how it sits. I will post updates. Thanks for yalls intrest.

welcome from a FL Jeep guy - I had a 46-2A, 52-M38A1, 65-CJ5 Dauntless 225-V6, 77 CJ-5 ex-military police, 95 YJ, 93 YJ that I put a CJ front end on just to do it, 97 TJ and my last one was a 83-CJ8 Scrambler that I redid and shot burnt orange metallic. I mated the 2A body on the 65 frame & runnning gear and it was bad-ass. Sold off all of them to fund a construction business.

interesting roof on the grey one, is it removable? The red one is cherry, those rear fenders and bed have such great lines
