Whippet? Whippet good! (Or popular with the lakes modified crowd, anyway. I want a Farmall, personally.)

doesn't look like my old Whippet shell to me. the whippet was a little more rounded around the edges

Looks like a 1927 Argentina Igotseeter. Very rare. Or I would go with the Chrysler too.

It must go with the mystery doors I bought and can't figure out what they are.
I got an idea...let's all put our mystery parts together and build the "Mystery Rod". Shaggy and the gang already took the name mystery machine.

Hey that reminds me...why are they called roach clips? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

'cuz pot holder was already taken! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is a '28 Whippet. The edge radius is much softer, and the emblem is round. http://i3.ebayimg.com/03/i/00/be/8b/af_1_s.JPG

choprods took the words right outta my mouth; overland.

(the whippet shells are wider at the bottom than the top, enough so that the sides are way more slanted than this one)

btw, a little trivia:

on the old ten dollar bills, the car in front of the treasury building is a whippet. get out a magnifying glass sometime and look. assuming you can still find one of the old bills.

Closest yet. The hinge on my door is in line with the lower body line and below the body line on the Whippet/Overland

I've gotta go with 40 Philbert on this one. I would however, include '25 Chrysler in the mix. Wayno

[/ QUOTE ] I thought the Dodge Brothers badge was closer to being round. In the first pics,it looks like it had a rectangular badge. When did they start making Plymouth?
