Surprised the Windshield frame didn't break off with a launch like that. I wonder how he got that thing to hook up that hard? Lead bars bolted to the rear of the frame http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif?

There's not a lot of frame for "lead bars"! That just happens when your driveshaft is only 6" long! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Remember it's not how long it is ..., it's how you make it long...! (the wheelie... that is...)! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yeah, that car's ok, but it's really pretty gay, because it isn't flat black, the wheels aren't red, and it's got a small block in it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

To any of you other HAMBers reading this: Petes car might look OK in the pics, but after months of discussion about how the build was going, this thing should be wild and scary and dangerous, and everything else you dream about in a car, and he ain't lyin'; DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I talked to some of Frank's old buddies and showed 'em the pic. They laughed and said yep that's him alright but not his car! It belonged to his wife!!!!!He was in her car when he did this and this was not the only time he did it. hey laughed while in my head I had visions of getting a hold of Frank to see if he'd help me set up the suspension on my Model A truck! I then remembered that his daughter called him at home on my cell phone and his number is still in there! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Now if I call would that make me a stalker of some sorts? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
