i replaced my 54 dash for a 52 Olds. i liked the look of it better. beside i felt that there wasn't to much you could do to a stock 54 dash too make it stand out.

    before...

now it just needs primer and paint. notice how it came out in the corners. i might get rid of the radio now. so i'm going to have to do some more welding. oh well thats fine by me. keep doing it till you get it the way you want it.

  9. Nice job, I agree that the radio should go too. That will clean it up nicely.

All that work should pay off when it's done.

Low Springs, nice job. I guess we can never be happy with what we already have. Is that a "grass is greener" thing? I'm sure somewhere someone is pulling out a '52 Olds dash to put in a '54 Chevy. [IMG]
Speaking of which, what did you do with your old dash?

Donzie, the chevy dash i sold off awhile back. i had it in the classifieds for awhile and nobody picked it up. i was selling it complete withs gauges, knobs and switches. finally low64 bought it. he said he was going to put it in his 50 chevy truck.

i've seen bare chevy dash sell at swap meets for no more than $50.
