TATTS when We slanted the posts on the Merc We had to split them vertically. We then made up the fwd side (the door jam) then fabbed the backhalf with the window radious. Put your two hands together like youre praying. Now roll youre hands together to the right. Thats what has to happen to your posts to keep the corners right.I spose theres other ways thats just the way We did it. FEDER

24 grit on a grinder will get rid of the 1/4 panel seams. then weld. work only a few inches at a time.

drip rail is kind of a PITA. the gap can vary a lot and also skew from the door gap. but basically same deal as the seams, but prolly be easier to get rid of most of it first with a small cut off wheel the grind & weld.
