I am trying to decide if I should keep my vehicle or sell it and get an early 60's Riv. Please give me some inspiration to keep her. My plans were to include airbags, chrome reverse wheels w/whitewalls. Tangerine orange with a Pear white or metalflake top.

I like it, but you forgot to put one of your clubs decals in the window. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Unless you really have to have a Rivi I would say keep this one. Honestly, I'm not usually crazy about 4drs but I gotta say this could look really sweet without much money spent. Plus, I'd say it would be an easier sale looking like this.

Someone should photoshop it jacked up on 26"'s with gold chameleon paint and fart can exhaust..........just so you could see what might happen to it if you sell it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Allright, you have convinced me. I really like the way that those smoothies look on it. I will probably go with a 16" wheel and whitewalls. I am not sure about the 2-tone but it's growing on me. I also have considered the shaved door handles but that may be a little much for right now. It's definately getting bagged after the first of the year. I called a friend last night who is going to be installing a killer stereo in it next week. I'll keep you updated. I have another friend who owes me a set of disc brakes that we will be installing on it before X-mas. Thanks for the photochopping ideas.

Close your eyes real tight and imagine. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Now,suicide the rear doors and loose the handles. Stick the snout down in the dirt, a set of skinny americans (no polish or chrome) and some slots in the back, a hotrod grocery getter. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
OH http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif make it any color you like, if it aint real bright, its just grey to me. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Lots of potential. But why not skip the airbagging and go w/ traditional cut coils up front and blocks out back? This would free up a little dough for that door shave that I personally think will make or break the car.
Just a thought.

I currently have cut coils in front which lowered the car approximately 4 inches and I have 2" lowering blocks in the back. The ride is pretty rough which is why I am considering going the airbag route. (+ I want it much lower without sacrificing ride quality)

ugh, no way. with my old pontiac I shaved the rear handles and it looked ridiculous. I mean, I sure wasn't fooling anyone and it didn't clean up the look very much. Shave 'em all or leave 'em on.
