I see in the catalogs that mallory front mount distributors might hit on some cars. Will it fit on my 47 with it's 59AB and stock fan setup? What do they hit, when they hit? I'd ask on the ford site, but I'm afraid I'll hear "what the hell is wrong with stock?" aside from the crappiness and poor performance, you mean? LOL Besides, I know I get super fast answers here!
No. they will fit, but you can't use the stock fan, no room for the fan belt. It has a crab type cap. If you can figure out how to run the fan off the water pumps, or the generator you can make it work. I have done one using an electric fan.
