I'm looking at dropping a 500 Caddy into my 60 Impala, I was curious if anyone knew if it would fit without doing alot of cutting, thanks.

Impala Mike, some of the other HAMBer's really like a introduction of yourself. Simple, basic, how's it going. Your swap has oil pan issue's. Does your Cad. have the rear sump?

yes it will fit. Use a 425 pan and pickup, it will clear the steering. A 350 turbo will fit the 500 and the stock trans mount.Use 68 RWD Caddy engine mounts, and adapt them to the 60 frame. Exhaust may be the tough part, 425 manifold may work on the right, Eldo manifold may be the answer on the left. If not, BB Chevy headers for a 60 will fit the Caddy by changing the flanges.

Whether T-350 or T-400 the tranny would need to be B.O.P. pattern
