Will later (40) hubs fit on early (33) spindles?

I just need to know if the hubs will bolt on and roll with seals in place. No need for brakes here Thanks.

You need a spacer to get bearings in right place--'33 bearings (same bearings as late) are a bit farther apart--easiest cure is to buy '28-36 hydraulic brake adapter kit, which is pretty cheap, and use spacer from that. I think seal actually rides on the spacer, which is just a little donut mebbe 3/4" thick.

Speedway has a kit to install the 40-48 brakes on the 33-34 spindles.i used it on my 34 axel and spindles for the front on my modified. their chev. steering arm fits the 34 spindle bolt pattern also.just needs trimming and spacing out from the back of the spindle.
