Hi everyone!!
Been lurking here for a while. Love the content here. Seems I finally found some intelligance on an automotive forum!!
Didn't realize I had registered last year.
Brief history:
Competed locally in the mid and late 60s in the old Jr Stock wars againest Gene Norris, Jim Waibel, Bo Laws, Bob Dance in 'Professor Fate' and several others whose names escape me.....CRS. Had a couple of cars that ran on or near the records.
58 Chev Del Ray business coupe-283/2bbl/PG
54 Chev 210 2dr-235 straight 6/3 speed-coowned with another person
64 Malibu 2dr-283/2 bbl/3 speed -coowned with another person
67 Camaro-327/2bbl/210hp/3speed
The Camaro was far more competitive in the newly formed Pure Stock classes. All cars were driven in and raced.
Currently bracket racing the wagon in the pics below.
Has been 13.70s at 4030#, 302ci.
Looking forward to a long and friendly chats here and remembering 'back in the day'......LOL
