Well there it is. The mounts are done, it's hooked up and stabilized. Hope it cools that flathead. Thanks for all of the help on this deal TV...you really saved me.

Yes the solenoid looks like shit mounted where it is. Yes, the plug wires look terrible as well just laying on the motor like that. And you'd think I could have found a better way to run the exhaust too...all of those things will be taken care of after it's on the road.

Grimlok, What did you use for a radiator? I just went through this and was told that a mustang radiator will work. Went to radiator shop he says no way will it work. I had a 36 for cut down and recorded for the sum of $450. I just wimped out on the mustang. Jerry

Haven't made it around the block yet...no fluid in the brake system.

Radiator is a custom deal made by TV. The shape of the top tank was crucial...that was all MY screw-up for not checking dimentions while building the track nose so he really saved my ass. I traded out for it but after checking around I'm guessing something similar would easily be into the five hundred range...after the fact I did find a really cool old school shop up north that would recore an old Ford unit for about two hundred dollars...probably still wouldn't cool as well as this one though.

It was pretty funny...TV shipped this rad. bare so I had to find a place to get it painted. I walked into this shop and the old guy says, "Sure I can do it." So I ask him to shoot me a price.

He scratches his chin and stares at the ceiling for a bit. "Oh...that's probably going to run you around twelve dollars." SOLD.

The new neighbors are going to hate me when I fire this thing up.

Cool. Can't wait to see it on the road.

Don't fret the little details (yet). My project is just a pile of parts. Anything assembled and running is inspiration to the rest of us, so more photos, especially detail shots, would really be great.
