Sincerly Consider The Following

In the classifieds section I think it would be a great idea to have a search function of some sort where you can look up cars via location. For example maybe a drop down list of states to choose from, I would really appreciate it if you guy/gals considered this.

Has been discussed before but no changes will take place concerning location or price.
The classifieds are as is and will be.
A lot of guys don't read the rules we have in place now so another rule would be something new for guys to also not to read and then the complaints get sent to me to clear up.

Look at it this way.

When you physically go to a swap meet - no swap meet is set up by brands name / parts/ location or price.

The fun is the hunt and looking at all the parts.
This is no different.
The HAMB was not set up to be a classifieds site nore ever intended to be.
Ryan, the site owner included it to help guys buy and sell with old hot rod and custom parts.

Enjoy the HAMB as it is !

I understand, but when you go to a swap meet all the parts/cars/misc. are already at your finger tips not thousands of miles away in Nebraska or somewhere. But none-the-less thanks for explaining it to me, maybe we can have a vote?.....no

I like the website but I dont like how there is a forum specifically meant for what I'm doing and you guys just shoot me down with out even considering what I'm SUGGESTING! And I dont understand how it would be something more for anyone to complain about, you already have to put in your location and price why not make it easier for people to search for that info?

I understand your frustration. But, it's not the way this website was set up. What I would do, if I were you, I would start my own hot rod based classified website and set it up exactly the way you want it. Why bother staying here and getting your knickers in a bunch?

well because I wouldnt know how to go about making my own website (I'm not a nerd), Why bother staying here? because I like it, I was just trying to make a suggestion that EVERYONE on here could benefit from. But you are all high and mighty and since one of your butt buddy friends didnt like my idea you now cant think for yourself and have to back him up.
