old footage?

does anyone know of any sources for real old footage from before the mid 50's of the lakes? (when flatheads ruled)

movies, video's whatever

anything that shows the real deal in motion

have a look at this..... was made in 52 but has some good footage of Santa Ana drags and El Mirage I think, A bit cheesy at times but still worth looking....also you might find other stuff if you do a search on there.

I've got some Don Tuttle video tapes converted from his old home video. A lot of drag racing but a fair amount of El Mirage and Bonneville mixed in. I think they are called Hot Rod Potpurri 1 and 2. Great footage!!!
