I don't know if anyone has seen this website:
Free DOS Software for People Who Like to Build Things (http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Hall/4425/)
It's a treasure chest of all kinds of DOS-based software to calculate anything mechanical. Or almost anything. Check it out.

I was searching old stuff (check out the dates on the previous posts) and thought that this would be worthwhile to bring back up.

For a long time I've been trying to find an Autocad r12 drawing of an average-sized human that I can use when designing seating position, steering wheel and pedal locations, etc.
Any of you CAD gurus ever seen one ?

Back in the early 60's when I designed operator's cabs (board drawings) on large cranes we had an eighth-scale cardboard human that we used to locate dashboard-mounted controls, foot pedals, etc. His shoulder, waist, neck, hip, ankle, and knee joints would all pivot so he could be adjusted to an infinite number of positions.
There has to be a CAD equivalent out there. I've done searches for "ergonomics" with no luck.
