whatever...there's definately something to be said for originality, but when something is ugly as shit, its still ugly as shit. I'm gonna take a '53 Chevy, section it 6", put 10" wide Wal Mart chrome stamped steel wheels on it, cut the wheelwells out so the wheels fit (but keep it stock height), chop it 8", and cut a big hole in the roof for my head to stick out. That, or construct and elaborate camera system so i can drive lying down. To top it off, its gonna be painted lime green with bigger-then-boat flake tribal flames and scallops. Gonna throw a Saturn 4-banger in it too, so i get good mileage. Oh, and finally, a widened '32 grill shell, 8" tunneled headlights, and tail lights off a Ford Focus. Original? Yup! Would you be caught dead in it? I hope not.
