Anybody heard of HONK magazine?

Some guy on ebay has five of them listed.The one I looked at was a June of 1953 issue.Early competition for Hot Rod?

Yep, Honk turned into Car Craft. You don't see these very often at swap meets.

I never would have guessed that. The guy says he is selling his Collection. Might be worth keeping an eye on him.

He has 4 "Rod & Custom's" from the 50's too.

They only did 7 issues of HONK (May -Nov-53)after that it become Car Craft.Dec 53. GREAT mags!

Published by Petersen, they were competition for R&C (which was originally published by Quinn). They're excellent (I have them all -- I was the original buyer!)
