Hi just wanted to introduce myself I'm fairly new to hot rods just finishing up my 79 Bronco and am looking for my next project and want to build a rod so hope fully we get a chance to chat I've got allot of questions like should I buy the 46 Ford cab off a 1 1/2 ton truck for a rat rod if it's less than $200. Building a frame (I'm gonna be a pest) Not many people to ask in the northeast.

Hello & Welcome to the HAMB from South Texas. ratrod is a verrrry bad word here.
Don't build a ratrod, Build a HOT ROD. HOT RODS are much cooler.
Good Luck.

I have a sister in Doverfoxcroft, where in Maine do you hang your hat? Also I second the "NO RATROD LINGO HERE"! Build a rodney or nothing at all, RRs are modern day duddlebugs that got off the farm!
