I've been lurking on here for a couple years and finally decided to say hello. I know a few guys on here (one neighbor and a couple guys from local car clubs). I'm the guy that will work on anything from sport bikes to a DOT plow truck and anything in between. If its steel and I get to pound on it, I'm happy.
Most of you will laugh at my import history, but most of it has been spent in auto-x and road racing and doing fab work (cages, exhaust and intercooler setups, etc). I'll have to get some pics up when I'm not at work.
I was raised on old GMs that I wish would have stayed in the family. And with all the auto-xing I do, I'm looking for a project truck to use as a tow vehicle; most likely a 50's or 60's Chevy 1 ton.
Anyway, thought I'd say hi and I'll try to get so pics of my car and some fab work up in the next couple days.

Howdy neighbor. Good to see you here. I thought your intro sounded familiar,
Welcome.

You're not my brother are you? Oh wait, he already has a 1 ton Chevy truck. He Rally races, too. Welcome to the HAMB!, from a fellow Minnesotan, ya.

I figured it was time to post! If I could stop working on Colton's 510 for more than a couple days, I might get to work on that drag car again. But the old Datsun is a riot! I was working on the rear upholstery last night and I have a feeling I'll be doing a muffler in the next couple days.

There are more on here from Minnesota than I would have imagined! For all the bad weather we have, we sure have a great car scene!

That 510 is a cool ride. Too bad there isn't a saki burner thread on here.
What you guys do is just as worthy as any old hot rod stuff.

James is a innovator and hell of a good fabricator too.

My friend just told me about a '66 Chevy step side sitting in his uncles barn. Shortened box, lowered, and a fairly potent 350 that needs a little work. It might be time to lose one of the Hondas in the stable!
