Hey Rocky, I went stomping the weeds and trees on an abandoned farm and found a HenryJ that was only missing the tail lights and the HenryJ script on the trunk lid. Needs some work on the floor pans and rockers and some straighting on the hood at the hinge points but otherwise was complete, would make a cool gasser with that Hemi ya have!! There was a couple of International trucks also, a late 40's like a KB7 with a drop frame trailer hooked to it and a 35 to 37 cab, frame and front axel, they were a little rough but saveable. I also found a pickup like your Willys that was a Chrysler more door cut down to a pickup, it had a straight 8 in it. There was a few more that I got pics of and will try and post them when I get the film developed. I know the farmer that owns them and he gave me permission to go snoopin and he said he may part with some of them, but I'm going to wait till he is done harvesting his crops before I pester him about price then maybe he'll be in a better mood to hagel on a cheap price. Stay with it Bill........you know I love Henry J's...see how much $$ he wants after harvest when he's fat and happy.
Thanks! BTW, did it have the little circular tailights or the 50 caddy-type tailights? Caddy style says it's a 52 or 53. The prefered year is 51 with the tiny round jobs.. And didja happen to notice if it had a deck lid or not? Some never had it cut out of the body.

This one had the small round tail lights and the back seat layed down, don't remember about the deck lid but I think that it did open up. It still had the flat six and three on the tree with an overdrive knob on the dash. Bill

No decklid makes it an earlier model, 51 to 53, if I remember my KF history right. Think it was in 54 that they came with a trunklid cut out.

Damn, I just don't remember for sure if it was cut out or not. I'll have to make a run back out there and see for sure, it's only about fifteen minutes from my place so maybe after work tommorrow night I'll check it out. Bill

Bill...click a photo.
Denise.......What Henry J?
BTW, what the hell is wrong with my mental make up? I'm not interested in mainstream cars and trucks. Nooooooooo, I gotta own 53 Nash's and Willys', Porsches and Henry J's. Hell, I even own a 47 Diamond T! Why can't I just be drawn to fords? It's a disease.

Rocky, I got some pics of it I just don't have them developed yet, will have to shoot a coupel more before the roll is done. One thing for sure, if I can get it cheap it will be easy to load, only one tire needs air and the spare is in the back seat. Bill http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
