We are planning on heading down to Bakersfield Friday night after the kids hit up the neighbors for some candy. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Give a hollar if you decide to make the event... I don't know where we will be pitted... just look for the lowest-buck operation and then stop by and say "HI"!
Shag and his orange '33 will be serving as tow vehicle... and the BFD is still wearing its rattle can grey primer job...

Going to run the BFD...? Did you make some changes so that it doesn't nose over on the top end...?

Wish I could make it Sam, I'd love to see the car run. If I don't spend a little time at home I won't have a home to spend time in. Got some chores to do so I won't make it. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Sam, I don't think there's going to be many people planning on going through the fire zones to get there, not from the South anyway.

At the time I suggested using my F-1 as a push/tow vehicle I'd forgotten that the GG event was the same weekend as the AHRMA season finale in Tulare. With two nephews and their old man racing both vintage motocross and dirt-track this weekend, and with all the family and lots of old mates in attendance, I'll give the GG race a pass. Give hotrodbob a hug for me and show your detractors just how wrong they are!

i was trying to keep a hole in my month for this, but an unforseen trip down south last weekend ruined it for me.
