PRICE NEGOTIABLE
!!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!UPDATE
Interested in trade for a '55-'56 Crown Victoria.
*****Price Negotiable*****
For sale: 1949 Ford 2 Door Sedan. Clear Illinois Title. $7000, offers welcome.
This car has been heavily modified from stock. It is streetable and has been driven approximately 1,500 mi since it was rebuilt. Runs and drives. Registered and plated until about 1 1/2 years ago. Good solid body with a few sheet metal cracks and no rust-out. There is some superficial rust and it does have some light body filler that has chipped. The dollies under the front wheels in the photo were just used to maneuver the car side-to-side inside of the garage. The broken headlight in the picture has been replaced with a new one.
Drivetrain: 351 Windsor with matched Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads, intake and 750cfm carb, Keith Black pistons, roller rockers and cam. There were five different cams available with this kit, the middle (#3) was chosen, but the owner can't remember the specs on it. Shorty headers from Summit, Flowmaster Exhaust, Summit 15 gal fuel cell, 1968 Shelby Mustang 4-Speed Transmission with heavy input shaft and Hurst Shifter. Narrowed and tubbed rear with 9 inch 3rd member with 4.11 gears and 31 spline axles, 18.5" wide Hoosiers with most of their tread left. The owner has a set of front rims to match the rears that go with the car.
Completely rewired, power brakes, power seats, stock front susp.
Both door windows are cracked as well as the pass side rear corner window. This car needs paint & bodywork. The hood was scorched in a carb fire and definitely needs repainted. (everything under the hood has been repaired or replaced since the carb fire.) This body is solid, not a rust bucket.
I am listing this for a friend. If you are interested, and or have any questions, please call Greg at (home) 217-824-5068 or (cell) 217-565-1049. If you would like additional pictures please email me at vtwinsideways@yahoo.com
Thanks for your interest. As always, thanks to the HAMB for providing this opportunity. vtwinsideways- Luke M.
