It is only 10-15 min to the mass line and the mass turnpike . Its not really on top of a hill but is wide open .
Dad and i stay about 20 min away for about 45 bucks a nite . I think you will find it to be about 40% circle track
20% tools and lots of good stuff . More and more northern old parts stuff showing up every year . It can snow , rain or be 90 degrees so bring lots of clothes . http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif Dad bought a 48 flat motor last year for 500 bucks with the trans .

go to Thompson every year, sometimes both days. Its about 40% track shit & the rest good stuff, i built my T from parts from there. There isn't too much around it, but you can hit Foxwoods on the way home!!!If you go to Mohegan sun you can catch a free Lorrie Morgan concert, shes got one of the nicest Racks in show biz!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Where are you located in NY? its worth a few hour ride, but if your from Buffalo i'd stay home & shove snow

Just a bit north of Albany so I'm close to everything. It's only a couple hours ride to Thompsom from where I am now. went to Stafford Springs yesterday, not much farther.

New York sucks but New England makes New York look like paradise.
