A big thanks for all the positive comments from the last couple of weeks.
To answer a couple of questions that were posted,
Most of the work is done on white laminated chipboard that are off cuts from modular kitchen construction. I use 1 Shot for the stripes and usually White Knight "Strokes" for the background.

Lostparts: Awesome artwork, man. Your one of my favs.
Here's something old, really old. I found this snapshot in a corner of the archives.
It's a pic of one of my first striping jobs. It's a silver design around the doorhandle of my buddies '70 Chevelle. It was called "Rat Poison" and it was black with rainbow flake, plus a mean big block.
We also lettered it and I painted Big Daddy's "Rat Fink" on the quarter pillers. It was at the time very cool. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
I posted these just to show there is "Hope" for anyone just getting into this artform.

Nice works guys.I have been looking for WWII style bomber nose art and pinup pics for a picture I'm trying to design.Does anyone have any?I want to draw a senorita with a Zapata style sombrero and topless but with two chain of bullets covering her chest.

Tiki, that knob is AWESOME.
Lucky the chair looks great... Got a similar project going on soon. Got a bunch or dinner chair frames that I want to turn in to a mini-sofa/loveseat deal. That was the color combo I was going to go with. You bastard! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Zodiac Naugahyde or barkcloth is the way to go!
Even though I'm a artist. I think upholstery might be the way to go instead of striping. Soon I will obtain my grandmothers machine.
Everyone else... Striping looks outstanding. This is my first show and I'm very impressed of the number of folks on here with so much talent.
OR...It is the margaritas talking. Another on the rocks please.

Here's a pic of me doing my very first plexi show sign in late '74. I didn't know what the hell I was doing. I just said; "I'm a PINSTRIPER" one day and I didn't look back. I had more desire than brains. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
