This one had them standing 5 deep at Charlotte this weekend.. so now that the 50 ford/89 T-bird thing has been done.. The chevy guys wanted to get in on the fun.. I think this was a caprice but maybe a Monte Carlo?

at first sight it looks like a way sectioned car, but the big ass hump in the front fenders and the to low bottom of the side widows just kill any could have ben cool thoughts

it's a cool(?) idea...but i think some ideas are better left on paper or in the head. looks like a caprice or Monte Carlo, but those review mirror looks like the ones Dodge uses on Intrepid. oh well...i don't really care what it is...i think it's ugly.

Sir, I do believe you is oddly misshapen,

and I'd like to talk to your Phrenologist 'bout dis infliction.

I saw it..........did NOT like it but you have to admire the craftmanship. Very well executed.

Not my style and was ..........a late model used car lot ride with a early nose....... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I wish I could do that kind of metal work and paint ..... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

interesting http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gifThe workmanship looks to be top notch. It just looks a little funny with that big lump in the front fender.I do like the dash tho.

duece, what do you mean late model.. looks like a 55 so must be a 55 right.... I was going to put a model A grill om my 91 caprice when I had it so I could attend the NSRA Nats.. sold it before getting it taped on...

Looks about as gay as the 55(?) Ford done over here with a late model roof and interior that turned up at the NSRF Nats. Seriously UGLY, but somehow won BEST Kustom!!!

Yes, we do have in-breds in Oz!!

i know the builder and although it's not my cup of tea, he showed me all of the build pictures and the amount of fabrication involved was mind-numbing.....very nice work

That's a caprice? those windows and roofline look awfully like neon. Some interior parts look like dodge stuff too. Caprice or whatever it should be buried in the middle of the pacific.

on second thought maybe an intrepid. those door panel and front seats look almost identical to my moms car.

yeah peddro, that aussie ones a piece of shit....I wish some ppl would get a 'designer' to at least look at something before they build it. Some ppl have no ideas about proportions etc.

I think that is a Chrysler product, like an LHS or concorde. I looked at My Implala, the roofline and side glass is totally different. Maybe it would have looked better if they used a Caprice/Impala...I don't care for it. Then again, I didn't care much for the Bird/Shoebox either.

I have to agree with the majority;a ton of work that looks to be done well but not my style.I 'm enclosing pix of one I took at the Ty-Rods show several years ago that was done(IMHO)in good taste.

yeah, its a mopar something. I saw it at GG's in Columbus. I hated it, but was drawn to look, like passing an accident and rubbernecking.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

2dr Dodge Stratus maybe??? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif The wheelbase looks too short for an intrepid. If the front fenders had a gentle slope instead of the huge lump this car would look a thousand times better. I do however have to give this guy credit for doing something totally different. It takes some thick skin and some major cajones to pull this off. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif Eric

....and again. Very bad.

A Ford with a Mitsubishi roof and interior. Almost vomited when I saw it. Lots of time, skill, paint, etc....for very little reward.

That Fordsubishi looks a lot better than that '55. I think it works alright when more than the front and rear clips are used. That means no akward grafting of totally different body panels. it all just flows a lot better. '53 Stude/Camaro (done right) = good idea.
