Hello fellow H.A.M.B.ers! I will be parting out a 35 Ford Chassis at the Charlotte AutoFair swap meet next month. Banjo rear and front end are complete with mechanical brakes. I will also be selling a complete 24-stud Flathead V8 with (59 bell housing casting no.) It cranks over fine, but I'm assuming it will need re-building, not knowing any history behind it. I did clean up the points in the distributor, getting it to fire to the plugs. Really lit me up! There's also a 39 Ford trans (floor shifter out the top) attached to the engine.
What is a fair price to ask for the motor and trans? What's a fair price for good, un-rusted and solid original 35 Ford wheels? I define fair as "good for the seller and buyer".
We will also have an original Henry Steel 33 Ford 5-window coupe body for sale. The grille he has is a 34 and is straight as an arrow. The body's a little rough, but very solid and well worth fixing up.
