No, not the 'TANG flavored kind of slice.... wrong board maybe?
Finally got a garage rented.
Put some stuff together in it, too.Thank God for zip ties. Awright, its just a mockup till I get the proper fasteners. Duh, I know exactly how its sposta go to together, its not a mockup, howbout "crapup?"

yay, happy day. The first of a series of 3 vehicles. This is the "Slowster," as in, not a speedster... looks like its ready to go offroadin...

amazing, I fit all that in the truck. thats some heavy shit. truck rode pretty nice that way tho. I like this stance a lot better than the "empty" stance. And yes, I did scrape and dent the cab despite my best efforts not to. Hell, it needsa be repainted anyway...

Congrats on the garage and now you will have the best parts hauler on the board. Too bad you scratched it but it served it purpose and Heck you have a garage now, so you you can fix the scratches. Look at all that space, now take a pix in one month. What happened to the space?

Cool!!
Just tell me where!
Looks like a fun little start.

What're your plans with the project?

Phil, I'm not gonna be out there working much just yet, just luggin junk over. PM me your number tho, when I am actually workin on stuff I'll give ya a call. Heck, they don't have to pay for electricity here, I think the rickity wiring could and NEEDS TO support a small beer-gerator!
This car, its gonna be a cross between a kit car and some archeology... I'm gonna build up a bone stock A chassis and running gear... hence, "Slowster." No chassis work, no thinking, heck, very little "drilling" even, just scrounging and assembling, the two parts I enjoy most anyway. Ok, a little thinking, I need to lower the sucker. Body may be a '26 olds tub, but haven't purchased it yet... No way in heck can I afford an actual A body, but if anyone can prove me wrong on that point, I'd like to hear from you!
Idea was gonna be like back in the old days, start out with a stocker, then hop it up with a bigger engine, etc... except I actually need to build the stocker first... I'm weird that way, I guess.
Avoiding that plan, because I got new plans for the "hopped up" car, its gonna be entirely different. I think some "restorer" may want this stuff and pay more if its unbutchered...
(Sshh, don't tell anyone, the FAD T is gonna make a huge comeback... even people in KANSAS are gonna start building them again...) http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
So when I get tired of going only 45 mph, I'll likely sell it and reinvest in the next car.
Later,

yeahyeah, Evo-san, me koo kat now... maximumo hotroddo-birry!
yes, uptown... erm, coyotes, maybe? It was fun when they decided to come into town and run down the middle of the street, they're fast, we'd chase them in cars.
"Daaamn, thats an ugly-ass dog... oh wait..."
Yep, I skated those alleys a bit too, in fact, this one has a nice slant leading down to penn st, which is precisely where I ass-planted myself last week after drunkenly commandeering some kids razor skooter at like 1 am... damn things don't corner well... still have the bruise.
Hopefully when I have better things holding the chassis together, I can utilize this gravity engine to go for a ride soon! I estimate the accelleration will be similar to the A motor.

Yeah on cold winter nights you can hear the Wolves crying in the hills. And every once and a while you see a dead Moose carcas on Painter. We use the buddy system when we go to uptown now. Too many our kin beens taken by dim wolves...
I'll PM you with my info. I'm not far.
