Oh yea, the first one is the orginal that he has had since the early 60's. And he still drives it to get the mail in the mornings.

Man, that first one looks good. I'm really starting to appreciate rods that aren't "over rodded". You know, huge chops, massive channel jobs, etc. Just simple, straighforward cars the way my grandfather could have afforded to build them.

Simplicity is king.

Hey Chris, I had no idea your dad had that other RPU, that one is sweet. What does it have for an engine.
MAn I want a RPU in the worst way.

It is a stocker that he has had since he was kid. The motor is a banger. Here is a pix of it from when he ran it a MOKAN dragway back in the early 60's.

gas was 28.9 according to the sign...........thats' a LOOOOOOOONG time ago alright!
