I bought a 53' Chevy pickup. It's in the tear-down stage. I may have a question or two as things progress or .......regress.

I like old pickups--the late '40s/early '50s Chevy/GMC pickups are good looking trucks and a good choice to build. The transmissions on them are weak and prone to jumping out of gear one they get some wear on them, but you'll probably be upgrading driveline stuff anyway. Lots of people here with a wealth of experience who are glad to help you along the way.
