I have been lurking around this site for almost a year, posted 9 times, and realized i need to introduce myself.
I live in north east Texas (all my life). I'm a heavy equipment mechanic/welder at a lignite coal mine. I've crossed over the mid-century mark age-wise, finally have a great home shop to work in and its time for my first real project/build. So... I'm on the prowl for a project (or projects),
a lot of technical support and questions answered from the members here.
Traditional and/or customs are the direction I'm aiming for.
I went to the swap meet in Canton (TX) yesterday and have a few ideas and leads on some local iron.
