Hi,
Just finally decided to actually sign up after lurking in the background for so long. I've had a love for these older cars but always thought they were out of my reach as I never really knew how to weld until about 3 years ago. I knew I couldn't ever pay someone to build me one and wouldn't feel right about not doing it myself. So now I've come to a point where id feel comfortable replacing floorpans, chopping a roof, or whatever the need.
I'm a sucker for anything kustom. My preference is mercs, shoebox fords, and chevys of the 50s but I appreciate everything and all styles.
I'm new so please be patient if I ask anything dumb. Thanks for takin time to read.

Hey Rog...welcome from another Rog...

I've been into kustoms since about 1955...cuz we didn't have too many hot rods where I grew up in the Midwest...winters meant roll-up windows, anti-freeze, heaters and mud tires...none of those very conducive in a hot rod...

If you want to see a kustom being built, check out my build:
