Hey everyone, Im new on here and right away I start in with the questions, I know. Anyhow, I have a 292 Y-block (was a 272 but built up w isky cam and some other slight mods) and I currently have a holley 600 man choke that just never seems to run the same way twice. One day it will idle high, one day not at all, when its cold she really turns into a moody bitch. Now Ive heard that going to the edelbrock 600 performer w elec choke will help the issue (along with the spacer to prevent heat choking). Thoughts?

i prefer the edelbrock and have good luck with them. with your size motor i would suggest a 500 CFM....so does edelbrock for 305 CI and under

if you go with the electric choke 600 , keep in mind it is calibrated leaner (for mileage ) than the manual choke 600
