For sale is a 1939 Ford fordor Deluxe. This car I believe to be 95% complete, in need of full restoration. I bought it 3 years ago off ebay, from a man in Georgia. He purchased it from someone in Long Island New York. It has some original paperwork. The New York registration that came with the car was signed by the second owner but never registered in Georgia. I tried to get this problem resolved but the seller never returned my e-mails, letters or telephone calls. I found it to be easier to purchase an open title from another state.
The car is in pretty good shape for it's age. The seller told me that the car did not run, but the engine turns over. I CANNOT turn the engine over.
It has a few dents and some rust issues, nothing that can't be repaired. The glass needs to be changed, the front floor needs work and the tool compartment in the trunk needs work. The worst is the bottom of the driver's side door. The skin is okay and the inside frame is okay, but the bottom section is rotted. It comes with extra rear doors, although the ones on the car are not so bad. It has no brakes and the left side emergency brake cable is broken. It rolls and steers with no problem.
