some of you will remember this roadster story, the guy built it in the 50s on his farm and drug it out of storage exactly as it was left 40 years ago. he is in the process of rebuilding and notified me he had so me new stories up on his website.

Maybe it's just because I've read too much Henry Gregor Felsen, but to me when I think 1950s hot rods I think of Iowa or Nebraska before I think of California! I love that website, but I'd forgotten about it since last year. Thanks H_H.

Thanks for reposting this. I reread this whole story again. What a great piece of Americana. I would love to see this thing in person.

This guy is an incredible builder...
If you can't learn a thing or two on that site you might as well give up!
Geez! He even used a ratchet handle to fab a handbrake lever! Thats the kind of stuff WE do, yet he's an original Hot Rodder,from back in the fifties!
