its my best friend Jeff with the 61 Buick "Bellflower" Lesabre. we just found out today. he's stoked. the article is cool, but the investment cost is alittle off, but just the same. many of you have seen it on here before, but I'll add another pic. he's a HAMB lurker through me cuz he has no PC. Opps..thats a before bellflower pic, sorry. other is too big to load.

I really like that car! I think it would look real nice with a scallop job matching the roof!

NICE

Congratulations to Jeff, and to all the other guys that have been in R&C. In fact it seems that everytime I pick up an issue now it's a car I've here first, if not in person at a Roundup.

Sorta off topic, but did he ever get the motor fixed?

Nice f'n car, BTW.

There's a pic of it in the current Custom Rodder, too. The color scheme is really unique and works well on that car.

Congrats to Jeff! Pretty cool to get recognition for something you love, huh? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey Grumpy, thanks for posting that... and congrats to Jeff, he's got a wicked car.

On a side note, the powers that be at R&C took the liberty of changing a few things while I was on vacation, and my Young Guns column will now be on the internet instead of in the magazine. The Young Gun of the Month and application will still be in the mag.

That sucks. Why did they axe it from print?

Congrats, I've always dug that car.

Apparently its a temporary "space saving measure".

I don't mean to post sour grapes, I just thought I'd let everyone know since a majority of the Young Guns members are also HAMBers.

congrats to the bellflower buick and pilot, i've got a bad ass close up of the flake from the roof shining in the july ohio sun:)

as far as axing your column, i say HORSESHIT. that was one of the very good things in R&C, i thought. guess i'll have to log onto the web to see it.

Nice car; that was what my wife had as her first ride.

What is happening at R&C, the new issue is so thin I can almost see thru it? Financial problems again?

He says "thanks" for all the nice comments. he doesn't have a computer, so he HAMB's vicariously through me http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif and yes, its got a new 63 401 in it now. it is a badass motor. plus he's aded somemore art work to it. I'll post pics on this post when I get them loaded. And, Dan, that sucks about "space saving" BS. and, yes, its in customrodder for its Top10 win too. plus GG's gazette. damn, he is a trophy bitch! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That's kool! Congrats on the youn gun win. It just shows ya how some cars with just little touches here and there can really make a difference.

Scribe, sorry about the down sizing. I wonder why they try to take away from the younger crowd all the time? I see nothing wrong with it. strange, later plmczy

Congrats, that car kicks ass.

And Scribe, did they really need to free up 1 page that badly? I guess our comments should be written to the editor.
