FNG from NJ: I hear this is the place to be...

I'm from Monmouth County in central Jersey but on the shore in Hazlet, NJ. I bought a 1950 Pontiac Chieftain 4 door deluxe last year on July 4th. Mostly original, straight 8, auto. And just before the winter I picked up a 1964 Olds Jetstar 88 holiday coupe that was too cheap to pass up. Also mostly original, olds 330, 2 spd auto.

I know some of you, looking to meet others in my area.

Thanks man, I kinda like the Pontiac the way it is. I just want to get it ready to go further this year to make a lot more shows. As for the Olds, I need to get a set of tires for it, not sure to go with bias or radials. Also gotta get a radiator for it (waiting for nicer weather here in NJ). I'll see how it cleans up, otherwise we'll be primer'ing it and I have no ideas as of yet.
