we got sleet last night and its been in the 40's during the day and the 30's at night. I hate winters.

We got 2" at my house yesterday.I'm still hoping to get a couple more rides in before the hotrod goes to sleep for the winter.This stuff SUCKS !!!!!!!!

It was 90ºF here yesterday, 94ºF the day before.
It's supposed to be 100ºF (38ºC) Saturday.
2 miles from the Pacific Ocean...

we receive perhaps 2 inches of snow a year down here, and normally it's gone by the time I get up.

the thought of old friends and aquaintances in Minneapolis freezing solid fills me with great warmth and happiness.

Wife said she expected about 7 inches last night...I went to sleep and there was no snow here when I got up.

I sure wish it would just snow a little here so that our "new" dirt track around our house would get covered up before the landlord stops by.... don't think he'll be too impressed by this one.

I agree, the S word sucks. I just got back from SoCal and it was hotter than hell in the valley. It's like 40° colder here in Chicago. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif And to think just 3 days ago, I was sitting on a surfboard in the ocean...

Opposite deal going on down here fella's at last the rain and wind seem to have stopped, long weekend this weekend and the sun is out..... all is begining to look good in the world and a very busy summer season is about to start http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
All I need now is to get off my arse and make sure that at least 1 if not 2 of the pies in the garage are running in the real near future (the easy one only needs a new radiator).

Well, it was UW-Stout's homecoming and the Auto Club acquired some go-karts from a new member this year. We had to get them running consistently for the parade so they were brought over to our garage... once they were running we decided to take a few hot laps around the house.

Well, once you do this sober, it becomes a lot more fun when you're drunk the next night with all the alumni back. Needless to say we've reseeded the grass and now we're just praying the snow will come early.

There are earthquakes here in So Cal, and wierdos on every corner and no jobs and nobody can afford a house and gas is very expensive and you can't breathe the air and the furriners are everywhere and japan and their little cars is close by and there IS snow in the mountains so don't even think about moving to So Cal. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It was 62 degrees in the carport this morning at 5:30 when I left for work. Damn, winter's a comin'. Brrrr!
