Welcome from colorado. I built a 37 dodge awhile back mild custom, with a serious chop. All my friends said I was CRAZY. But what a fun car to cruise in. Good luck...ghost

Welcome from another Houstonian!
Neat project!
By the way, I love the bumper. I hear blue is the new chrome!:p
I see Trans Am wheels, what suspension set-up is under that thing?

thanks for the welcome guys, I'm going to try to start making it to the dark horse. It has a mustang II up front, and a four link in the rear. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the Mustang II though. It also has a sbc under the hood, and that might go as well. Possibly a slant six, but I haven't d ecided yet.

Another hello from Houston. Hope you are keeping that car covered here in Houston.
I myself keep trying to get to the darkhorse, maybe someday.

I mentioned to my wife about the Dark Horse this Sunday and she said 'Those must be diehard car guys to do that on Super Bowl Sunday!' I said 'Exactly, they're my kind of people!'
Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to make it this time, have a family function.

Born and raised in Houston, now live only 20 short miles in the Baytown/Highlands area.
WELCOME! I'm am a newb here too, but gotta say I LOVE this place!
I'm hopin' to get the ol' Chrysler out this weekend or next and head up to the Darkhourse to meet some of the other fellow HAMBers. Have no desire to watch the games, would rather be wrenchin'!

Welcome to the HAMB, I dig the Dodge. It looks similar to my '37 Olds.

I don't have any pictures in the computer right now. But I'll try to get them loaded for ya. The chop wasn't too hard, and since you have another car for donor parts, It will be a lot easier. I chopped mine 5 inches. But there are some details, I am sure I could help you with. I have chopped 2 dodges, and one plymouth. all more doors. and my dodge was the first car I chopped. that's why I said my friends thought I was crazy...ghost
