Hey all,

I am just another guy with too many projects and not enough time. I am a car geek, did my first brake job 31 yrs ago at the age of 9, haven't put down the wrench since.

Bought my first car at 15, a 1962 Impala SS that someone else had stripped for painting and never went any further with it. I still have that car, though the engine has been in the trunk since 1989, I don't want to go back to it till I can give it the full meal deal..

I have loads of other projects around here, looking at them, far too many..

I recently picked up a pair of 49 Chevy 1/2 ton's, one being a 5 window. I am building one for my 17yr old daughter who has been into these trucks since she was old enough to walk.

I stumbled upon this place doing the S10 frame swap search in google, what a place this is!!

Anyhow, thanks for all you guys who have contributed here, I have a bunch more reading to do!

Hey there,
I just moved from Bellingham down to the Bay Area last week.... was up there for 3 years! Great place and some real nice vintage (and modern) tin up there. Hope you did not suffer in the flooding~
Great to have you onboard...
BTW, do you get down to Marysville very often? Might have a project down there for you if you are interested...

Thanks for the welcome!

We were fortunate and did not have any issues with the flooding, aside from my root cellar getting hip high.

I think if I take on another project the wife is gonna kick me to the curb. Given that, whatcha got? :D
