10 years in midget racing !959-1969 Ill.,wis,oh,ind.raced with best of that time.UARA,USAC.Badger.Started with hand pump for fuel pump,handbrake,no roll bar,no seat belt and finished with full roll bar,foot brake.and sam brown belts.(no wrist restranrs yet which caused meny of my major hurts today).Raced with Jimmy Kinght,Jimmy Davies, Jeff Gordon,Tony Stwart,Mel Keyon just to name a few.1969 UARS champ.I saw a lot of histroy made and lost in th 10 years I waas invloved.(Max)Walter Reichenbach race car builder was my father-inlaw.I learened an awful lot from him I only wish I had writtin it down.Would be happy to share what I can remember with any one as I beleve midget racing was a very important part of our history. Hello Mr. Krueger...watched you run for years around these parts. When you have hours to kill, go to the vintage sprint car thread. There is a years worth up there, even had B Field read it, but he never signed up. There is a car up there that I know I saw run, I think it was a Reichenbach but didnt want to jump in without being sure. You may remember it. Anyway, have fun up here. JD
