Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum stuff so bare with me. I live in Florida and have two "fun" cars at the present time. One is a '95 T-Bird with a "EasyRod" kit installed. For those that don't know, the kit has the look of a '49 Ford in the rear and I chose the '50 Mercury mouthpiece with the Corvette grill for the front. It's a head-turner with all the amenities and a 4.6 motor
The other is a '58 Chevy Biscayne, 4 door sedan with a 283, 4 barrel, and overdrive trans. 51,388 original miles. Anyone else out there have one of these beast (or other '58 Chevy)?? This is the one I have a question about. Many of the '58s I've seen have the rear of the hood sticking up (about 3/4"s). Before I go ripping into something strange, does anyone know if there is an "easy" adjustment for these hoods?? I took a look but it appears to me that the hinges are fixed at the firewall.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Take care, SteveC

Welcome, the easy fix is a big hammer, but some guys don't like what it does to the paint.
