Super Bell tube axle, 4" drop.
Durant Mono-Leaf front spring utilizing all spacers.
SoCal chrome plated front shackles - replacing Deuce Factory stainless shackles which seized - my fault, I forgot the anti-seize.

Deuce Factory stainless lower shock mount.
Deuce Factory chrome plated shocks.
Super Bell bolt on steering arms.
68-70 Mustang front disc brakes - 11" rotor.
Super Bell disc brake adapter bracket.
Vega cross steering.
Home-made aluminum ball bearing steering column with owner splined shaft.
Borgeson U-joints, Deuce Factory splined connector U-joint to U-joint.
Deuce Factory powder coated tie rod & panhard bar.
SoCal - when they were Pete & Jakes in Sunny California - pitman arm.
Deuce Factory stainless king pin retainer bolts cut down for proper steering radii.
31 on 32 rails roadster.
Super Bell beam axle, 4" drop.
Posie's Super Slide front spring.
SoCal chrome plated front shackles.

Owner built tie rod & panhard bar.
Owner built radius rods.
SoCal pitman arm.

right on for the pics and description C9! i have been looking into disc brake setups as well... was wondering what type of customizing, if any, you needed to do to get the pieces to work together... brackets, calipers/rotors, hubs etc etc. would appreciate any info http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif thanks

Capricekid, Magnet and C9 have give you a "truck load" of information.
For more info on how it "goes together"; suggest you get a copy of "How to Build a Traditional Hot Rod" by Mike Bishop and Vern Tardel published by MBI Publishing Company.
The ISBN is 0-7603-0900-0
It is the "Bible of Rod Building" and can be found at most book stores.

Hey Caprice,
Check out a local Borders book store. In their transportation section, there are some Tex Smith "How to Build a Hotrod" books. He's got how to chop cars, build flatheads, ect., type books. Their very informative and affordable.
That's what I've done. I'm also gonna check out the ones Digger Dave suggested. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I forgot to mention a couple of things.
The 31's disc brake adapter is a Magnum.
Given me by a friend which is what got the whole 31 on 32 rails project started.
Spindles on both cars are Super Bell's 37-41 Ford re-pro's.
The whole disc brake thing on both cars is a bolt together deal.
Here is a more extensive write-up I did for Mike Siewert's Canadian FSRA newsletter.
go here: http://www.fsra.org/kruz02_3/c9.html
Information and photos as well as part numbers on both disc brake setups along with part numbers for using a Dodge rotor.
Reviewing the article, the Camaro rotors etc. are later model than what I wrote above.
There's an interesting brake return spring in the article as well as several more pics.
There are other tech articles as well as stories on the site.
You know Mike Siewert as C-Word here and on the RRT.
