bc hambers- stubby is out of the hospital

hey folks, to all those who kmow our favorite three fingered cantankerous geezer panel beeter, he is out of the hospital. i went by and saw him today, he said that it was only a mild heart attack. the docs told him to rest, and he is takin it easier, but not completely, he said it would kill him to not be workin on the hudson he currently has in there. typical stubby- he asked me to go get him some groceries, gave me cash, and when i came back insisted that i take something for gas money- i was gonna ask for the triumph, but he probably would have given it to me. i told him i didn't want anything, but he insisted and pushed a 59 buick hood emblem at me- told him i didn't have a buick, he said neither did he and to stick it on my barbeque- so you can see he is back in his old form- anyway, thought i would let you all know how he is doing. i asked if he wanted people to drop by, and he said only if they used to come and brought rye with them.

Ol' Stubby is out eh? Good to hear. I haven't been buy the shop for months.I think I am written off for the winter anyways. But I will be sure to give him my 2 cents on the Buick Give Aways!!!!! Wow I had no idea that there were so many BC Hambers but then again I have only been on here for about 2 weeks! I am thinking about asking him if he is in the mood for tackling my 64 Wildcat. Sure would like to have a car that was customized by him. I don't know anyone with his skills around here. i would post a pic of his hudson, but he told me if i ever brought a camera into his shop i would never be welcome again. the grill is a thin slat with sideways corvette teeth- all the same size teeth. with smaller ones with lenses in them for turnsignals inset into the fenders. the top of the fenders have been raked back and the lights frenched and tilted.

i cant believe i missed this thread!!i heard through a buddy'o'mine he was in the hospital..but i wasnt sure what for..i called dibs on that '39 lincoln zepher he chopped back in the day..'cause i heard he wasnt going to make it..been wanting it for ever!!!im glad it wasnt to serious and im glad he is back at her,workin on the hudson..it is going to fuckin rock..havent seen it for a while though..say "hi"and give him my best for me badpat next time you go out there..or lemme know i would like to see him again. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
