thread subscriptions vs favorites

I know we have the thread subscription part where it basically keeps track of ones we have posted on. What about having a option to mark a thread as a favorite so that we can have the ability to keep an eye on specific threads without posting on it (thats what I do when I want to watch one). Any thoughts?

You do not have to post to subscrribe to a thread.
What you can do is, create a shortcut of the post you want as your favorites, then make a zip folder and put them in there.
