I'm tired of waiting for all the damn action .GIF avitars to load just to see a page.
How do I turn them off?
I can't find anything in my profile options about or labeled "avatars"... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

But I don't want to turn off all pictures in the posts, just the avatars under the name of the poster...Is that the same?

Speaking of avatars, how come mine is so small? I just put it up, and I had to keep making it smaller to get it to fit, and this is how it ended up, you can't even read it. BTW it's a lid of a fastener box that says automotive stud, with an errect stud on it.

The only way to have a decent sized avatar is to host it elsewhere and post the link in the box.

PHOTOBUCKET (http://www.photobucket.com) is free and easy.

Is it possible to access selected avatars only?
I'm talking about the ones that have girls squishing their knockers and the one with the walking girl with bouncing jubblies.

I have never had those avatars work. I didn't even know they moved until a week or two ago. I have all of my prefernces on "yes", what gives?

You may need to select "enable animations in web-pages".

If you go up to the tool bar, assuming you are using Internet Explorer, click "Tools", "Internet Options", "Advanced" tab and look under "multimedia:.

Some of the popup blockers allow you to turn off animations. It alows you to still view pics and the first screen on the gifs. I use addsubtract and it does this.
